Hi, I’m Jess— and I’m proud to be an anomaly.

As a lover of process and people, I am a unique Venn Diagram overlap. I own a label-maker and make use of it religiously (I have labels in my refrigerator and my kids’ dresser drawers). I organize my closet by sleeve length and color. I was on the Math Team in high school and loved every second of my statistics courses in grad school. Trust me, this is all true; if I were lying about myself, I’d make myself sound a lot cooler.

Yet, along with my crippling hunger for organization and efficiency, I also LOVE people. I love throwing theme parties and sending memes in Slack. I love figuring out what makes people tick and unleashing a well-timed pun.

On the surface, people and process can seem to live in contradicting and separate circles– people are emotion and passion, and process gets misconstrued as robotic or restrictive. But beneath that misconception lies the truth that I have built my career around: people + process = transformation. I have seen that simple equation work every time.

My professional experience echoes my commitment to process and people, including:

• Executive Leadership Roles spanning Strategic Planning, Product, Integrated Business Planning, and Operations

• 15 years of facilitation experience, facilitating strategic clarity and installing strategy management processes for clients ranging from start ups to Fortune 50 giants

• 8 years experience as the in-house accountable party for Global Strategic Planning and Integrated Business Planning processes for a billion-dollar consumer products company

• 10 years designing and improving cross-functional business processes as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt in industries ranging from grocery, to consumer packaged goods, to proteomics (and everything in between)

• Change Management leadership, training, and speaking, supported by a Prosci Change Management Certification and a Masters Degree in Communication

I am a proud Midwesterner at heart (and still regularly use the phrase “Uff-da”), but now happily reside in Timnath, CO, with my husband and three children (and enormous dog, Cooper). Together, we serve as a foster family to babies, teenagers, and every age and stage in between. I am a firm believer that who we are at work and who we are at home are not separate, so in that vein, I will just note that foster care will forever be my favorite domain in which I witness transformation.

My products and my heart are all-in on process and people producing transformation and I would be honored to put that recipe to work for you and your team.

So very sincerely,

Jess
